Notes
- Privacy — the conversion runs entirely in your browser. No server, no upload, no analytics.
- Inputs — WAV is the headline case but anything your browser can decode works (AIFF, FLAC, M4A, OGG, even MP3 to re-encode).
- Size limits — practical limit on phones is ~200 MB input; on a laptop, files up to ~1 GB usually work. The decoded audio lives in memory while encoding, so very long uncompressed audio can run out of room. If a big file fails, try splitting it first or use a desktop browser.
- Speed — encoding runs at roughly 5-10× realtime, so a 30-minute file takes 3-6 minutes.
